Other July 1859: Charged with stealing timber and sentenced to seven days in gaol.

The Cornwall Chronicle 6 September 1862:
‘Longford, September 2nd, 1862.
H F Wells, Watchmaker and Jeweller, from Charles Street, Launceston, is removed to Longford, and he has just opened his shop. He faithfully promises all the inhabitants and settlers round about that he will do every Watch or Clock well and warrant them to go 12 months without any expense to the customers. All descriptions of watches can be done and not detained long. All kinds of watches, Chronometers, Levers, Genevas, Duplexes, Verges, can be repaired at H F Wells, Longford, opposite Mr Edwards, Bootmaker.’

May 1864: Issued with a hawkers’ licence, Longford.
October 1864: While Henry was working in a workshop at the back of his residence in the main street of Longford, the front window was smashed and a watch case and watch escapement were stolen.

23 April 1865: Death of wife Elizabeth from consumption, Launceston.

May 1865: Hawkers’ licence expired, not renewed.
