Other | Circular Head Chronicle 1 April 1914 – Watchmaker and Jeweller. This week a watchmaking and jewellery business is being opened in Stanley (in Church Street, in a shop next Mr W Anthony’s) by Mr G Goldsmith. The gentleman in question is a practical tradesman, and we have seen credentials from residents of Wynyard (where he was last in business) testifying as to his ability and trustworthiness. This will fill a long felt want in Stanley, and Mr Goldsmith should find plenty of scope for work here. An inspection of his valuable stock is cordially invited. May 1914: Travelled to Melbourne to purchase new stock for the business. August 1914: Advertised opening business in Smithton. |
Death | unknown |
